Keswick MRT is primarily responsible for the area outlined on the map which includes England's 3 highest mountains - Skiddaw, Helvellyn and Scafell Pike. For more extensive search operations we will operate anywhere in the Lake District or even further afield.
We are available at a moment's notice 24/7 in all weathers to respond to a call for help. By the end of 2007 we had dealt with 2487 rescues which included 235 fatalitiesl
